Red Rock Canyon Open Space Hikes
If you are looking for a nice moderate hiking area not to far out of Colorado Springs the Red Rock Canyon Open Space is a great place to go. Located on the west side of Colorado Springs just of Highway 24. There you will be able to find several easy hikes, mountain biking trails, all of these areas are dog friendly.
Red Rock Canyon Trails
There are several different ways to hike in the area you will be able to take more difficult paths or more easy paths. If you are looking to go on very narrow paths take the more difficult ones if you want more of a path take the easy ones. You will also be able to hike to places where you will be able to rock climb. Rock Climbing is only permitted with a permit.

Where is the The Red Rock Canyon Trail Head & Parking
Red Rock Canyon Open Space is located just off Highway 24 if you coming from Colorado Springs city center on Highway 24 you will see Rudy's Restaurant on your left it will be your next left afterwards onto high street. ( it is a little strange to get to specially during rush hour) That will bring you directly to the parking lot for the area. All of the parking there is free.
